The John Hindmarsh Environmental Trust Fund is partnering with the Maitland Trail Association and hosting a Plant – Compost Sale and Spring Walk event on May 7th.
The sale is being held in the parking lot at the Knights of Columbus Community Hall in Goderich (390 Parsons Court). A variety of perennials and herbs will be available along with bagged compost. The compost often sells out early! Proceeds from the sale will be used to support environmental projects being undertaken by Maitland Conservation.
At 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm the Maitland Trail Association will be leading walks through the Maitland Woods. The walks start from the parking lot at the hall and are suitable for the whole family. The walk will be about 1 hour in length.
