For several years, Maitland Conservation has been leasing part of Pioneer Conservation Area located at 21 Park Road in Bluevale to the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry. This lease provided continued operation, maintenance, and development of the ball diamond, recreational pad, pavilion, and surrounding park space by the Bluevale Community Committee for public use.

Maitland Conservation has identified the Pioneer Conservation Area located at 21 Park Road as surplus to the Authority’s needs and is currently working with the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry to have this parcel of land transferred to the Municipality for continued operations.

The proposed date of the disposition is by December 31st, 2025. Consultation on this disposition will take place over a 45-day period with comments due by 4:00 pm on August 8th, 2025.
