Naftel’s Creek Conservation Area is a 49-hectare property featuring a well-developed trail system that winds through coniferous plantations, cedar lowlands and mix hardwood forest. Boardwalks and bridges provide access through wet areas and over Naftel’s Creek, a healthy cold-water stream. In the winter, the property is popular with cross-country skiers. Trail improvements are currently underway thanks to support from the Maitland Conservation Foundation.
